Port Orford is in the middle of the south Oregon Coast, halfway between Bandon and Gold Beach. On Hwy 101, it is about 60 miles north of the Oregon/California border.
It's easy to drive here.
We're about 4 1/2 - 5 hours from Portland, 8 hours from Seattle, Sacramento and San Francisco, 3 hours from Eugene, Medford and Grant's Pass. I-5 is the main north-south route up the Wilamette Valley in Oregon, and there are a number of good east-west routes here from the I-5. Probably the fastest way to get here from Portland, for example, is I-5 south to exit 161 Drain onto OR 38, drive along the Umpqua river (past the Dean Creek Elk Viewing area) to Reedsport, turn south on Hwy 101 and we're 1.5 hours away.
